New Wood / Modern Design
|
We also build pieces using new, locally harvested trees. Many of the trees were cut due to disease, natural reasons, and/or new construction. These trees are typically cut and turned into wood chips or sent to a landfill. By utilizing trees in local urban areas, we minimize deforestation as well as fuel required to transport the lumber, while also promoting local businesses. Most of these trees are old growth trees, and make beautiful lumber with distinct character.
